Cosplay for Competition

From: Hatsune Miku 10th Anniversary

After completing my Hatsune Miku V2 cosplay, I wanted to achieve a more complex challenge and I decided to recreate this version of Miku that celebrates Miku’s 10th anniversary! What makes it so difficult is that this costume uses a lot of transparencies, which means that if you make a mistake in the boots or in the sleeves, you have to make that part again from zero!

The whole costume has 8 LED circuits:

• 2 circuits in the giant bow on the back that connect more that 1000 LEDs that react to the sound
• 2 circuits for the animated rainbows in the headphones
• 1 circuit that connects the neon LED necktie
• 1 circuit for the animated lights in the skirt
• 2 circuits for the animated lights in the LED panels of the sleeves

With this costume I won the 2nd place and the Public Choice Award in Polymanga Global Easter Cosplay in Switzerland!

From: DANGANRONPA V3: KILLING HARMONY

Miu is the ultimate inventor, and for this project I decided to make my ultimate cosplay with many skills involved, such as fabric dyeing, embroidery, harnesses making, wig making, prop making, electronics and robotics. This costume’s backpack is the main attraction, which includes a LED touchscreen, 2 remote controlled robotic hands, 2 smoke devices, a USB port for charging any device, many buttons and even a useful hand sanitizer that reacts to proximity! With this costume I won the 2nd place and the Best Crafted Costume Award in the World Cosplay Summit Exhibition Event 2022 in Saudi Arabia!

From: HATSUNE MIKU: PROJECT DIVA

I wanted to challenge myself and to make a Hatsune Miku cosplay like no one has ever seen before. I used several special fabrics with iridiscent, reflective and holographic effects, and LED lights programmed with arduino as well. I made these costumes in about 4 months for the World Cosplay Summit 2021, where our costumes were one of the best evaluated on the competition and we won the Sound Directing category.

Inspired by: Gigantamax Alcremie from Pokémon Sword & Pokémon Shield

I wanted to make a huge costume that made use of several sewing techniques, and Gigantamax Alcremie was a perfect character to do so! I applied haute couture techniques like draping to make the skirt look like a giant cake! I spent tons of hours sewing by hand, but I really liked the final result! I won the cosplay competition at Festigame 2020, which is the biggest Videogame Cosplay competition on my country!

From: One Piece

Horo-horo-horo-horo-horo! I started to watch One Piece and I really fell in love with Perona, so I couldn’t resist to make a cosplay based on her post-timeskip look! Of course, the ghosts and Kumashi were made by me as well! I qualified at the top 100 in the One Piece Cosplay King Grand Prix competition, and I participated on the official Photo Mosaic to celebrate One Piece’s anime 20th anniversary!

I really love the Sinnoh region and the Pokémon Diamond & Pearl games! One of my favourites Pokémon ever from this generation is Roserade! In 2016, Pokémon Go was released and a special Pokémon-themed cosplay competition was held at the “International Cosplay Day” event here in Chile. I won the first place with this costume!

Leafeon is one of my favourites eeveelutions! I made this costume using dyeing techniques to get the desired colors and a more natural-looking fabric texture. With this cosplay I won the first place at the cosplay competition of the Pokémon-themed event “PKMN Day 2016”.
